2008  Bench created by Ken Henderson

Each year the society picks a local artisan for this project.  This year Arnie Herbert, master craftsman and wood worker has donated a beautiful rocker for the society to raffle.  Dale Chapman was the winner chosen at the Parish Olde Home Day on Sat. Aug. 7.

On N Railroad St. Franklin G Ludington operated a feedmill, it was sold to W.C. Richards, and was last operated by H & H Feed Mill. The building still stands today and is owned by Hadwin Fuller III.  The barn that stood across the road was a part of the feedmill operations.  When the barn came down a few years back, Ken Henderson was able to rescue some of the lumber before it was burned. Won by Mr. Fred Swartz.
