The Parish Town Historical Society (PTHS) welcomed guest speaker Julian W. Adams on Wed., January 24 at the Mills and Petrie Memorial Gymnasium. Julian W. Adams is the Community Liaison Coordinator of the NY State Historic Preservation Office. This was a wonderful opportunity for the 25 members and friends of the PTHS to learn more about the Certified Local Government (CLG) Program offered by the NYS Historic Preservation office and how Parish may identify the impact that the historic buildings, sites and neighborhoods bring to our life. Delicious refreshments were enjoyed, as many ideas were discussed following the PowerPoint presentation.
